Ms. Shilpa Jajoo

 

A science graduate and a diploma holder in medical lab technology. Ms. Shilpa is section-in-charge of blood donor room and apheresis laboratory which is specialized for platelet and plasma donation. She also supports testing for transfusion transmissible infections, which is done in automated laboratories with world class machines. She has a vast experience of more than 20 years in the field also is an active member of The Blood Centre Technologists' Association Of Maharashtra.

Ms. Usha Jade

 

Ms. Usha is our Technical Supervisor and is well trained in handling component separation laboratory. She has experience of more than 20 years and handles all automated equipment like refrigerated centrifuge, automated component extractors. A science graduate and with a post graduate diploma in biomedical technology, Ms. Usha also supports day to day activities in blood grouping and cross matching laboratory.

Ms. Suchitra Mujumule

 

Ms. Suchitra is a science graduate and holds a diploma in medical lab technology. She has undergone specialized training in handling automated blood grouping and cross matching equipment. Right from running daily quality control checks to managing technical manpower, Ms. Suchitra leads our blood grouping and cross matching laboratory. Being trained in using all high-end equipment, she also supports department of testing for transfusion transmissible infections, which are fully automated laboratories equipped with world class machines. Her association with us is of more than 15/20* years

Ms. Sampada Deopujari

 

Ms. Sampada is the section-in-charge of technical record room and meticulously manages preservation of records as per statutory requirements of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and NABH (National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare Providers). Ms. Sampada, holds a diploma in medical lab technology and pharmacology. She is also trained for standard equipment of our NAT (Nucleic Acid Testing) laboratory, blood grouping and cross matching laboratory. She is an excellent phlebotomist (the one who draws blood from donor’s vein) and efficiently handles automated cell separators in apheresis laboratory.

Ms. Nandini Papat

 

Ms. Nandini is in charge of our laboratories of testing for transfusion transmissible infections. She looks after day to day functioning as well as quality control of this lab with the help of Levy Jennings charts and Westgard rules. A science graduate and holding a post graduate diploma in biomedical technology, Ms. Nandini is also our Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) certified by the Atomic Energy Research Board (AERB) and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). She is in charge of blood irradiation laboratory and looks after its day to day functioning, quality controls, monitoring and safety.

Ms. Arati Vaidya

 

Ms. Arati is in charge of blood component separation laboratory. A science graduate with post graduate diploma in biomedical technology, she has also undergone NABH training. She is well trained in handling refrigerated centrifuges, automated component extractors as well as cell separators for apheresis donations. She has an experience of more than 20 years in the field. She is also a brilliant phlebotomist (the one who draws blood from donor’s vein). She herself is a blood donor as well as a regular platelet donor.
